Job Summary
Part-time Maintenance Assistant (AM) at Silverado Frederick, a memory care leader, performing general maintenance to keep the community safe, functional, and welcoming. You will support safety, cleanliness, and functionality across all areas under the Director of Plant Operations, assist with repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance, and contribute to a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience in hospital, institutional, or multi-unit residential settings
- Effective communicator in verbal and written English
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Knowledge of general maintenance procedures
- Comfortable working around animals and pets
