Job Summary
Manage the school cafeteria and milk program within the Catholic school's philosophy and guidelines. Supervise students in the lunchroom, distribute milk, and monitor safety and behavior during serving periods. Before lunch, set up audio equipment, cleaning supplies, and condiment carts; after lunch, return items, refresh batteries, empty dishwashing tubs, and restock the refrigerator. Maintain accurate inventory of milk and supplies while ensuring compliance with Colorado State and Denver County Health Department guidelines. Uphold Gospel values, model Catholic teachings, and adhere to the Code of Conduct and confidentiality policies. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to maintain a safe, orderly environment. Perform all duties as assigned by the principal, including leading evacuations and providing first aid.
Required Qualifications

- Supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school
- Acting as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Supporting and adhering to the Code of Conduct and policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese of Denver
- Abiding by the Confidentiality Policy set forth in the Faculty& Staff Handbook
- Requires a minimum of a high school diploma
- Compliance with Safe Environment requirements
- Refrain from promotion or approval of, or the living out of, any conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to, the Archdiocese of Denver, or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals
- Effective supervisory skills
- Effective listening and verbal communication skills
- Must have understanding of child development skills necessary to relate to the students being supervised
- Must have appropriate control and discipline techniques to successfully manage a room
- Must work cooperatively with school staff and administration
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of and willingness to implement safety and emergency procedures
- Positive references and recommendations
- Successfully pass a criminal background check
- Requires lifting up to 40 pounds and carrying up to 40 pounds
- Ability to execute appropriate safety and emergency procedures, including leading evacuations and providing basic first aid
