Job Summary
Provide patient care while maintaining nursing standards and supporting patients with medical needs. Administer medications, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed. Develop and manage nursing care plans; participate in evaluation of current and future medical needs. Responsibilities include creating and providing patient care plans, communicating with patients, families, and medical team to achieve goals, and performing administrative duties such as attending medical conferences for ongoing care and education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/Associates degree and a license to practice nursing in the state required
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
