Job Summary
Part-time LPN provides nursing care to residents/patients, including medications and treatment administration, documentation, and supervision of nursing staff. Responsible for coordination of resident care from admission to discharge, assists RN with assessments and data collection, administers medications and treatments, monitors patient condition, ensures physicians’ orders are followed, maintains infection-control practices and a safe, clean work area. On-site in Park Rapids, MN; requires LPN licensure and nursing program degree.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing for the Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Current LPN licensure in the state in which they are working
- Up to 2 years' experience as LPN
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures including HIPAA, Universal Precautions, OSHA
- Preferred: Previous experience providing senior care / healthcare setting
