Job Summary
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high attention to detail. Handle customer complaints professionally, keep the lounge clean by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing tables and counters, and monitor inventory levels to report shortages. Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and COSHH regulations, including proper hand hygiene and protective equipment use. Work 16 hours weekly on Saturdays and Sundays at Dublin Airport Terminal 2, earning €15.40 per hour with mandatory pre-employment checks.
Required Qualifications
- Irish Garda Vetting check
- overseas Police Clearance Certificate (if lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months)
- 5 years of verifiable employment history
- Previous experience in a similar customer service role, preferably in a café, hotel or restaurant setting
- Adherence to dress code policies
- Adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Adherence to proper food safety and hygiene standards, including temperature controls, storage procedures, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle customer complaints effectively
