Job Summary
Part-time Loader/Cart Associate at Lowe's delivering customer service and maintaining a clean, safe store. Responsibilities include being friendly and engaging with customers, retrieving, loading, and replenishing merchandise, helping customers and staff move merchandise safely, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and replenishing shelves. Safety is critical with frequent lifting/moving of merchandise. Availability required mornings, afternoons, and evenings; occasional travel to meetings/trainings. Minimum qualifications include 6 months experience using a computer and retail technology; ability to obtain required sales licensure as needed. Preferred qualifications include 6 months of retail experience and prior Loader experience at a home improvement retailer, plus merchandising and inventory duties.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- 6 months retail experience (preferred)
- 6 months experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer (preferred)
- 6 months experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store (preferred)
- 6 months retail merchandising experience, including Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, signage, and housekeeping (preferred)
- 6 months experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles (preferred)
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance
