Job Summary
Conduct customer service and order fulfillment by assisting shoppers with locating, selecting, and loading merchandise while maintaining in-stock conditions through down stocking and replenishment. Operate power equipment safely to move and stage products, ensuring accurate loading of customer vehicles based on order size and weight. Collect carts, maintain clean work areas, and report safety hazards or security concerns to management. Support Pro and Garden Center customers by remaining visible in loading areas, engaging with repeat clients, and ensuring orders are staged and ready for pickup. Complete required power equipment and spotter training to support safe and efficient loading practices.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 Months Retail experience
- 6 Months Experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer
- 6 Months Retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping
- 6 Months Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles
