Job Summary
Customer-focused Loader/Cart Associate assists customers, retrieves and loads merchandise, replenishes shelves, and helps move merchandise to customer vehicles. Safety-critical tasks include lifting merchandise and maintaining a clean, organized store. Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability; ability to lift 25 pounds; 6 months experience with computers and retail technology; basic licensure/registration as required by law. This role involves customer service, merchandising, stocking, and loading activities with occasional travel to meetings/trainings or to support neighboring stores.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
- 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones and tablets)
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- 6 months retail experience (preferred)
- 6 months experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer (preferred)
- 6 months experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store (preferred)
- 6 months retail merchandising experience (preferred)
- 6 months experience in loading/unloading product or material in or out of vehicles (preferred)
