Job Summary
Part-Time Live-In After School Private Tutor in San Jose, CA for a 13-year-old with ADHD.Responsibilities include academic tutoring, developing executive functioning skills (planning, time management, task initiation, emotional regulation), helping with homework, coordinating with teachers, managing after-school routines and light household tasks (laundry, meal prep, occasional groceries), and fostering a structured, calm environment. Requirements: experience with school-aged children (preferably ADHD), strong tutoring skills, patient and emotionally intelligent approach, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain 3-5 professional references. Benefits include a private apartment, 10 days PTO, 2 sick days, 2 personal days, and six major holidays paid. Schedule Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM (guaranteed 20 hours). The role emphasizes mentorship, consistency, and long-term involvement within the family setting.
Required Qualifications
