Job Summary

Conduct animal restraint, triage incoming patients, and manage nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases with varying stability. Collect and analyze lab samples including blood, urine, and fecal, then process them for testing. Perform diagnostic imaging by positioning and capturing radiographs, assist with surgical preparation and anesthesia monitoring, and administer medications. Communicate treatment plans precisely with clients while interpreting medical records and recording accurate histories. Endure unpleasant odors, noises, and potential exposure to bites, scratches, and contagious diseases. Some Saturday shift availability required.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed veterinary technician

  • Proficiency in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback in a professional manner
  • Self-starter
  • Desire to continue to advance one's knowledge and skillset

Desired Qualifications

  • 1+ years professional experience
  • Eligible and waiting to take the VTNE
  • Ability to position for dental radiographs
  • Licensed/registered/certified role status for Continuing Education Allowance
  • AVMA Accredited Veterinary Technology Program for Tuition Reimbursement
