Job Summary
Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse needed to perform home healthcare nursing procedures under the RN Supervisor, including tracheostomy and colostomy care, enemas, catheterizations, dressing changes, phlebotomies, and medication administration. Provide patient and family teaching, monitor vital signs and intake/output, document accurately, and coordinate with the healthcare team while maintaining confidentiality. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice, with at least two years of clinical nursing experience; must be able to perform home visits and have reliable transportation; HIPAA/Medicare/Medicaid compliance expected.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
- Licensed as a vocational/practical nurse in the state of practice
- At least two (2) year clinical practical nursing experience
- Ability to make home visits and provide nursing care in the home environment
- Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation or ability to take public transportation
