Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Wound Care Center provides wound-related nursing care under the direction of the RN/Provider, assists in vein clinic and intake/discharge, gathers and documents patient information, and communicates with team to ensure quality of care. May perform hyperbaric therapy-related duties after training, may serve as a Documentation Assistant (scribe), and supports compliance with hospital policies, CMS guidelines, and regulatory requirements in an outpatient wound care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state approved educational program
- High School Diploma or GED
- Wound care experience preferred
