(Part-Time) Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts (EMEA)

Job Summary
Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (client service agreements such as MSAs, SOWs, SLAs; supplier contracts; licensing agreements including IP, AI, software, and cloud/tech-related deals); provide pragmatic legal guidance to business stakeholders across EMEA; act as a trusted advisor balancing legal risk with commercial objectives; develop and improve contract templates, policies, and workflows; deliver legal training on contracting, risk, AI, and data; stay informed on GDPR, AI Act, and regional regulations; collaborate with the global Legal Team to ensure consistency; required German language proficiency and a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in Amsterdam.
Required Qualifications
- Fully qualified lawyer (NL, Germany or another European jurisdiction) or equivalent in-house experience
- Fluent German (written and spoken)
- Fluent English
- 3-5 years’ experience in commercial and contract law at a law firm and/or in-house role
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a services-based environment is a plus
