Job Summary
Part-Time Lecturer of Computer-Aided Design focusing on CAD, BIM, and related digital design areas. Teach digital drafting, 3D modelling, visualization, and documentation workflows within an architecture and interior design education context. Support students in developing practical proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and related tools; provide timely feedback and assessment aligned with course learning outcomes; contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment; maintain accuracy, punctuality, and effective communication in teaching responsibilities. The role supports the School of Architecture and Interior Design at Canadian University Dubai (CUD) in Dubai, UAE, promoting strong design thinking and professional practice through studio-based, technology-enabled pedagogy.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related design discipline
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design and Building Information Modelling
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
