Job Summary
Part-time lecturer needed to teach, assess, and mentor TVET students across the listed programs. Responsibilities include delivering instruction per curriculum and occupational standards, planning and conducting practicals, developing schemes of work and lecture notes, preparing internal exams and validating/processing exams, conducting continuous assessments, supervising trainees on industrial attachments, marking and entering grades, and overseeing attendance. Mentoring students and supervising exam invigilation (internal and external) are required, with additional duties as assigned by HOD or Director. Areas include Counselling Psychology, Community Health, Health Records & ICT, Social Work, and Environmental Sciences. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field, a Certificate in Pedagogy or TVETA trainer registration, and typically 2 years of teaching experience in a TVET setting; 2 years of industry experience is an added advantage. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor-level degree in relevant field
- Certificate in Pedagogy or registered by TVETA as a trainer
- 2 years of teaching experience in a TVET institution
- 2 years of industry experience (advantage)
- Registered and licensed by relevant board for Health Records & Information Management OR Counselling Psychology (where applicable)
