Job Summary
Leasing Consultant responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors; leasing apartments to meet occupancy and revenue goals; conducting tours; supporting marketing and outreach; reviewing applications (income, credit, background); maintaining lease files and documentation; ensuring apartment readiness for move-in; supporting lease renewals; tracking leads and follow-ups in property management systems; responding professionally to calls and emails; assisting with work order entry and maintenance communication; supporting move-in processes and system setup; maintaining the leasing office, model units, and amenity presentation; and maintaining knowledge of market conditions, pricing, and policies. Requires strong customer service and sales skills, clear communication, attention to detail, ability to multitask, confidentiality, teamwork and independent work capability, basic math for rent calculations, weekend availability, and comfort with using social media for marketing and engagement. Education requirements include High School Diploma or GED, with Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in leasing, sales, marketing, or customer service preferred.
