Job Summary
Leasing Consultant responsible for attracting and screening tenants, marketing available properties, conducting property tours, screening applicants, negotiating lease terms, and ensuring a smooth leasing process. Responsibilities include maintaining high occupancy, providing excellent customer service, coordinating with the Property Manager, responding to inquiries (in person, by phone, and email), preparing lease paperwork, and upholding fair housing regulations and company policies. The role requires staying informed about local rental market trends, participating in marketing events, using property-management software (e.g., Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, ResMan), and being flexible to work evenings and weekends. A valid driver’s license and 1+ year of sales or leasing experience are strongly preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
