Job Summary
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess student progress. Lead innovative learning activities while ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times. Monitor children's development and create a harmonious environment where students and staff enjoy daily work. Requires MSDE School Age clock hour certification, classroom experience, and strong communication skills for interacting with parents and staff. Competitive pay of $18.00-$20.00/hour with childcare tuition discounts and relocation options available. Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma
- MSDE School Age clock hour certification REQUIRED
- Classroom Experience working with children in a classroom setting, often through student teaching or internships
- Classroom Management Skills includes proficiency in managing classroom behavior, creating a positive learning environment, and implementing discipline strategies
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members is required
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role
