Job Summary
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess student progress. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times while monitoring their development and creating a harmonious environment. Lead innovative learning activities that foster children's growth and implement discipline strategies to manage classroom behavior. Maintain strong communication with parents and staff, demonstrating patience, collaboration, and creativity in Early Childhood education. This part-time role offers competitive pay of $18.00-$20.00/hr, childcare tuition discounts, and career advancement opportunities within Endeavor Schools' network of 100+ locations. MSDE School Age clock hour certification and high school diploma are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma
- MSDE School Age clock hour certification REQUIRED
- Classroom Experience working with children in a classroom setting, often through student teaching or internships
- Classroom Management Skills includes proficiency in managing classroom behavior, creating a positive learning environment, and implementing discipline strategies
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members is required
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role
