Job Summary
Lead age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities for cognitive and social development, and assess student progress. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times while monitoring their individual growth. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers thrive. Maintain strong communication with parents and staff to support a positive learning atmosphere. Requires MSDE School Age clock hour certification and classroom experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma
- MSDE School Age clock hour certification REQUIRED
- Classroom Experience working with children in a classroom setting, often through student teaching or internships
- Classroom Management Skills includes proficiency in managing classroom behavior, creating a positive learning environment, and implementing discipline strategies
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members is required
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role
