Job Summary
Conduct training for new hires and coach associates on consultative selling, cross-selling, and upselling to maximize store performance. Partner with the Store Manager to communicate sales goals, reinforce actions driving success, and assume Manager on Duty responsibilities for opening, closing, banking, and security. Provide expert cannabis recommendations regarding therapy goals, dosing, and consumption methods while processing transactions and resolving customer concerns. Maintain accurate records of activities and patient intake in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring merchandising aligns with current campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- 2+ years experience in a retail or a similar customer-facing environment where sales and service are critical
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales results and influence others
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask, plan, and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to de-escalate and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods
- Ability to assist with lifting stock and materials
- Ability to move around the store and retrieve product as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Proven track record of leadership capabilities
- Experience in coaching and developing retail teams on sales skills
- Cannabis industry experience a plus
