Job Summary
Act as training ambassador by supporting new hire orientation, product launch education, and skill development. Coach associates on consultative selling, cross-selling, and upselling to maximize customer value. Partner with the Store Manager to communicate key business results, sales goals, and performance metrics. Assume the role of Manager on Duty for operational tasks including opening/closing, banking, and store security. Provide expert cannabis recommendations covering therapy goals, effects, dosing, and consumption methods. Process transactions using point-of-sale systems and resolve customer concerns to build loyalty. Maintain accurate records of activities in compliance with state and federal regulations. Support merchandising and promotional execution to ensure displays align with current campaigns. Foster a positive team culture built on collaboration and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- 2+ years experience in a retail or a similar customer-facing environment where sales and service are critical
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales results and influence others
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask, plan, and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to de-escalate and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Proven track record of leadership capabilities
- Experience in coaching and developing retail teams on sales skills
- Cannabis industry experience a plus
