Job Summary
Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community while ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of resident garments and linens. Maintain a safe and sanitary environment and contribute to the goals and objectives of the department and community. This role requires comfort working around animals and pets, the ability to read, write, and speak English, and physical activity including walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Candidates must be willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia and have reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards. The position is part-time, AM shift, Friday through Sunday, with pay ranging from $15 to $16 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia
