Part-Time LABORER (Harvest Season)

Job Summary
Load and unload aggregates and materials from barges to trucks using material handlers, Skid Steer Loaders, and Front-End Loaders. Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling and sweeping, while conducting routine equipment inspections and requests necessary repairs. Consult personnel on machine specifications and safety procedures to ensure efficient site operations. Effectively complete unloading tasks and report on site activities as required. Maintain a valid driver's license and possess working knowledge of machinery operations. Work various hours, holidays, and weekends under pressure, adhering to all safety training and background screening protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must be COACHABLE
- Working knowledge of operating machinery
- Knowledge of unloading/loading procedures and techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively to subordinates
- Ability to complete safety awareness training and lead by example
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have and maintain a valid/current Drivers license
- Must have dependable transportation to designated TRS locations, no exceptions
- Must be able to work various hours/holidays/weekends
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug screening
