Job Summary
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized laboratory environment while assisting students with lab activities and competency assessments. Prepare lab environment, equipment, and materials for instructional use; monitor and stock lab supplies with accurate inventory records; support faculty with course materials, documentation, and lab session setup. Provide assistance to other Health Sciences programs as directed by the Dean; operate office and laboratory equipment to support instructional and administrative needs; document activities, issues, and resolutions in reports. Requires lifting up to 40 pounds, proficiency with Microsoft Office, clear written and verbal communication, and a customer-service oriented approach. Emphasizes independence, troubleshooting, and ongoing learning of new equipment. Minimum qualifications include completion of one full-time semester in a Health Sciences program; background checks will be conducted; transcripts may be required. Prefer familiarity with surgical technology instrument sets. Part-time role at Ivy Tech Community College Columbus, IN with Title IX compliance and comprehensive benefits.
