Job Summary
Serve as a classroom-focused support to the teacher for Kindergarten students, assisting with instructional strategies, IEP/behavior/healthcare plans, assessment data collection, and preparation of instructional materials. Provide small group or individual activities, supervise students during school-wide activities and bus transport, and help with classroom housekeeping and equipment/materials ordering. Maintain appropriate licenses/certifications as required and participate in training to enhance skills related to the assignment. Maintain regular, punctual attendance and adhere to safety procedures and district policies.
Required Qualifications
- Education level must be in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines; certification as mandated by the Professional Standards Commission.
- Possess and maintain valid and appropriate license, certificate and/or credential as may be required for this position.
