Job Summary
Generate sales to meet financial goals by creating memorable customer impressions and executing the "door to floor" concept from receiving shipments to setting the floor. Coach and train current and new crew on product, presentation, and process while supporting store leadership in strategic managerial tasks. Manage store operations by handling opening and closing duties, rotating through Division of Responsibility assignments to ensure clarity on execution. Maintain weekend availability for scheduling needs, working an average of 20-30 hours weekly with seasonal peaks reaching 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year's work experience in retail leadership, or equivalent role
- Charismatic personality and a love for the vineyard vines brand and community
- Proven track record in driving sales with strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Has experience and passion for leading and mentoring a team
- Team focused, confident and professional
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast paced environment
- Weekend availability required – scheduling will be dependent upon the needs of the business
- 20-30 hours/week average to maintain part-time status
- Seasonal Stores (25-40 hours/week average during seasonal peak periods)
- Stand and/or move around for extended periods of time
- Reach, carry, bend, and climb ladders occasionally
- Lift up to 40 pounds, unless an accommodation is requested
