Job Summary
Open and close the Merchant Queenstown Frankton store while maintaining premium presentation standards and ensuring a tidy, stylish environment. Support store operations during manager absences, run smooth shifts, and actively engage customers to build rapport and achieve sales targets. Maintain a proactive, positive team presence while managing daily foot traffic and inventory checks. This part-time role offers 22.5 hours weekly with a roster covering Friday through Monday at $24.50 hourly, including bonus potential. Join a family business with over 30 stores across New Zealand and Melbourne, known for heritage craftsmanship and expert service.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience in customer service (retail, hospitality or similar)
- Are confident, responsible and happy to lead by example
- Have a natural way with people and love building rapport
- Are organised and calm under pressure
- Have a great eye for detail and presentation
- Are motivated by goals and love seeing results
- Friday: 10:30am - 4:30am
- Saturday: 10:30am - 6pm
- Sunday: 11am - 4pm
- Monday: 10:30am - 4:30pm
- Minimum Hours: 22.5 hours per week
