Job Summary
Maintain clean inside and outside work areas, including offices, restrooms, breakrooms, driveways, parking areas, and grounds surrounding the facility. Operate equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, and forklifts for seasonal activities while enforcing company safety policies and attending scheduled meetings. Inventory cleaning supplies, notify personnel for re-orders, and immediately report equipment issues to a supervisor. Work a Monday through Friday schedule from 1pm to 5pm at a multiple shift facility, requiring flexibility for on-call rotations, weekends, and holidays. Wear steel-toed boots and proper PPE daily.
Required Qualifications
- Time split between office environment and warehouse/plant or yard
- Working in a yard or warehouse/plant within OSHA guidelines
- Conditions may be heated and/or unheated, dusty and noisy
- Steel-toed boots required daily
- Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule
- Be on-call at various times
- Possible weekends and holidays
- Job is performed under some temperature extremes
- Ability to stand, walk, or be mobile for up to 8 hours per shift
- Capable of ascending and descending material handling equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs
- Wear proper PPE at all times
