Part Time Inventory Technician

Job Summary

Package and label finished goods for distribution per SOPs, ensure products are quality checked with correct packaging based on 3rd Party Lab Results, and organize stored items in the vault. Maintain and clean the inventory workspace, perform routine daily inventory counts, and monitor cannabis inventory conditions while reporting any issues to Management. Assist with maintaining store compliance with Island Pezi and vendor requirements, process goods for retail, and complete tasks assigned by the Inventory Supervisor. This part-time role requires a valid driver's license, age 21 or older, and successful completion of the Cannabis Commission licensing process.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Professional appearance, attitude, and interpersonal/social skills
  • Exceptional customer service, data entry, and record-keeping skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet applications
  • Basic math skills and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask, maintain teamwork, and resolve conflicts effectively
  • A valid State issued Driver's License
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must complete the application and Cannabis Commission licensing process in a timely and professional manner
  • Must successfully pass a background check
  • Must successfully pass a drug test for all substances non-cannabis
  • Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills, with the ability to assess risk effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including overcoming objections and anticipating concerns
  • Capable of exercising independent judgment and making sound decisions
  • Excellent personal organization, time management, and multitasking skills, especially under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to positively influence others

Desired Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Prior cannabis industry knowledge, education, or certification
