Part Time Inventory Control Forklift Driver

Job Summary
Support the Asset Protection Supervisor by conducting, organizing, and validating inventory counts, sorting damaged and RTV merchandise, and obtaining return authorizations from vendors. Operate a forklift to reduce salvage, re-wrap sellable items, and process damaged or defective goods following appropriate salvage and reverse logistic procedures. Execute department inventory counts, track county cycles, and maintain accurate stock status for all merchandise while ensuring a safe environment. Review daily return reports, process vendor chargebacks, and complete necessary safety certifications. Maintain club policies, cleanliness, and organization across all points of contact.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
- At least 18 years of age
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds
- Ability to lift and move heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance
- Ability to use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets
- Ability to bend, climb, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping, and climbing ladders/step stools
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor temperatures, as well as occasional exposure to extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers
- Ability to be exposed to hazardous material
- Ability to conduct daily club safety walks
- Ability to escalate findings to Asset Control Inventory Supervisor
- Ability to support Inventory Control Count Team in executing count processing as assigned
- Ability to review daily return reports, processes merchandise recalls, and processes tire and battery returns
- Ability to ensure that the AFS and release dates are followed
- Ability to ensure that the books are stocked, and that the execution of book returns are completed in partnership with the RICS
- Ability to process the 945/948/950's in partnership with the AP Specialist
- Ability to re-wrap sellable merchandise using appropriate seal and shrink-wrap packaging guidelines
- Ability to maintain all club policies and procedures
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed
