Job Summary
Part-time faculty are responsible for supporting the advancement of the colleges' vision, mission, and values. Duties include managing classroom assignments, evaluating students, developing curriculum, advising students, and participating in professional development. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in nutrition or related fields, with specific alternatives provided. Faculty positions may also require periods of standing and walking in a classroom setting. Benefits include optional part-time faculty benefits program and membership in retirement systems.
Required Qualifications
- Master's in nutrition, dietetics, or dietetics and food administration
- Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in chemistry, public health, or family and consumer studies/home economics
- Bachelor's in nutrition, dietetics, or dietetics and food administration with certification as a registered dietician
- The equivalent
