Job Summary
Part-time instructor position in Special Education at Penn State Altoona for the 2026-2027 academic year. Teaching opportunities include courses in Special Education, with expertise in PreK-12 contexts. Candidates should hold a master’s degree; experience in PreK-12 classrooms is preferred. Courses will be offered in-person. Teaching topics may include Special education law, assessment in inclusive settings, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and evidence-based methods for instruction in reading, mathematics, and writing; additional opportunities could include trauma-based pedagogy and autism-related content to support Elementary and Early Childhood Education programs.
