Job Summary
Part-time instructors to teach HIST 314 (Canada and the Cold War Era), HIST 355 (The Sixties: A Social History), HIST 322 (Canadian Immigration: Race and Ethnicity TO 1896), and HIST 323 (Canadian Immigration: Race and Ethnicity FROM 1896) at St. Francis Xavier University. Courses will ideally be taught in person during the fall term (Sept–Dec) and winter term (Jan–Apr) for the 2026-27 academic year, with consideration for online synchronous delivery. Preference is given to candidates who hold a PhD in History and who have strong teaching and communication skills and/or prior university-level teaching experience. Proposals for additional courses may be considered based on qualifications.
