Job Summary
Part-time Academic Instructor needed for EDUC 434 - Contemporary Issues in Public Education. Teach and facilitate exploration of historical, legal, and philosophical underpinnings of contemporary public schooling, covering topics such as Canadian schooling structure, policy processes, educational law, teachers’ organizations, and educational standards. Delivery mode includes in-person (Unama’ki) and online, February 12, 2027 – March 13, 2027. Requires PhD or MEd (or equivalent) with extensive teaching experience; preference for Mi’kmaw speakers or language learners. Review of applications begins June 16, 2026.
