Job Summary
Teach entry-level networking, cloud, and Linux courses covering routing-switching, Microsoft, and AWS technologies. Deliver instruction in classroom and online modes across multiple CSN campuses, including weekend assignments. Prepare students for certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, and RHCSA.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with an information technology emphasis
- 1 year experience teaching technical courses
- 2 years experience providing technical support in the networking or IT support role
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a major, minor, or advanced degree from a regionally accredited college or university with technical emphasis such as IT, IS, CS, EE, etc
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
- Certifications earned within the past five years including Comptia A+, Network+, Linux+, AWS, Microsoft Azure, RHCSA Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator, Cisco CCNA, Quality Matters APPQMR certification
- Experience using the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS)
