Part Time Instructor - Adult Ed

Job Summary
Conduct adult education instruction in reading, math, and language while administering assessments like TABE and developing individualized educational plans. Deliver lessons through individualized, small group, or whole-class formats using varied resources including textbooks, field trips, and computer-aided software. Manage student enrollment paperwork, maintain accurate attendance records, and collaborate with students to set long-term goals and track progress. Prepare instructional materials, organize student files, and coordinate with referring agencies. Work Tuesday through Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM with flexible shifts; valid Arkansas teaching certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current Arkansas teaching certification
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of adult learning theories
- Strong Computer Skills
- Highly Self-Motivated
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to endure prolonged standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, occasional reaching above the head or the shoulders, bending, squatting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working Adult Education program
