Job Summary
Installs, services, and removes electronic monitoring equipment from client residences, workplaces, agency offices, or jails. Troubleshoots equipment problems, performs routine cleaning and maintenance, and conducts inspections to identify damage or malfunctions. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies to service contracts and tests equipment against quality assurance standards. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and six months of military or law enforcement experience preferred. Extensive local travel may be required, with installations potentially involving unstable or hostile environments. Part-time schedule of 8-10 hours per week with mileage reimbursement and a company phone provided.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to climb stairs to deliver and install EM equipment
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months of experience in the military, or a security or law enforcement field
- Ability to understand EM messages and daily summary reports
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage inventory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
