Job Summary
Installs, services, and removes electronic monitoring equipment from client residences, workplaces, agency offices, and jails while troubleshooting problems and performing routine cleaning and maintenance. Conducts equipment inspections to identify damage or malfunctions, tests units against quality assurance standards, and maintains adequate inventory of supplies. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to operate a motor vehicle safely, and experience in the military, security, or law enforcement field. Includes nights, extensive local travel, and potential work in unstable or hostile environments. Mileage is reimbursed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to climb stairs to deliver and install EM equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department
- Ability to understand EM messages and daily summary reports
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage inventory
- Extensive local travel
- Possible unstable or hostile environments
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months of experience in the military, or a security or law enforcement field
