Job Summary
Infusion Nurse role in Kingston, ON (part-time, on-site) focusing on direct patient care in an infusion clinic, performing pre-treatment assessments, IV/SC/IM medication administration, central line access, patient education, treatment monitoring, and adherence to Health Canada guidelines and provincial nursing standards. Lead operator for clinic quality and patient care processes, ensuring safety, documentation, and coordination with physicians and healthcare teams. Requires 2-4 years infusion nursing experience, RN license with liability insurance, CPR/First-Aid, and strong clinical and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with Professional Liability Insurance
- Active license in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses (or equivalent provincial college)
- CPR and First-Aid certification
- ACLS, CVAA, CON(C), PALS certificate as asset
- Infusion nursing experience 2-4 years
- Expert IV insertion skills
- Ability to deliver patient education including self-injection education and medication teaching
- Ability to administer medications via IV, IM, and/or SC
