Job Summary
Nanny for an almost 1-year-old child requiring a minimum 6-month commitment; provide attentive infant care and support developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities; introduce healthy solid foods and encourage positive eating habits; engage in imaginative play, reading, music, sensory activities, and outdoor exploration; take the child on walks and outings; maintain limited screen time; prepare meals and snacks; perform child-related laundry and keep nurseries and play areas organized; assist with light household duties related to the child; take initiative in supporting daily routines and development; must be comfortable with dogs; requires 2+ years of childcare experience with infants/toddlers; W-2 employment with Jovie of Boise; guaranteed 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of childcare experience caring for infants and toddlers
- Ability to commit to a minimum 6-month placement
- Experience caring for children under age 3
- Knowledge of infant and toddler developmental milestones
- Experience introducing solid foods and encouraging healthy eating habits
- Dependable, proactive, and self-motivated
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
