Job Summary
Part-Time Dental Hygienist needed at Daybreak Dental in South Austin. Responsibilities include conducting initial dental assessments, performing routine cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, collaborating with dentists on treatment planning, maintaining infection control and clinical documentation, utilizing radiography equipment per guidelines, recommending products for oral health, and staying current with hygiene practices and technologies. Requires TX RDH license, strong communication/patient education, and Open Dental software experience preferred; compensation $60-$65/hour plus monthly bonuses; schedule 3 days/week, no evenings or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Experience with Open Dental software preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of infection control standards and clinical documentation requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office environment preferred
- Possess a friendly, positive demeanor and collaborative teamwork
