Job Summary
Part-Time HR Coordinator responsibilities include assisting with recruitment for part-time warehouse personnel and surge by attending career fairs and events, conducting onsite interviews for part-time staff, coordinating new employee orientation and benefits enrollment for part-time personnel, managing open enrollment for the site, handling payroll-cycle understanding, maintaining personnel files, posting employment opportunities, and supporting employee relations and morale activities. The role requires strong communication, organization, and presentation skills; familiarity with HRIS and benefits processes; ability to manage onboarding paperwork and drive recruitment efforts in a fast-paced environment; and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. The position is based in Puyallup, WA, and involves regional recruiting events with a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalency required
- Pass background check and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license for regional recruiting and events
- Experience with HRIS systems (PayCor, MQ1, ComplianceQuest) is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
