Job Summary
We’re seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper to support the cleanliness, safety, and comfort of an assisted living/memory care community. Responsibilities include cleaning resident apartments (bathrooms, floors, dusting, vacuuming, bed making, linen changes), maintaining linen inventory and laundry services, cleaning and sanitizing common areas and restrooms, performing floor care (sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, carpet care), handling cleaning supplies safely, participating in training, and responding to resident emergencies. Compliance with local/state/federal regulations including HIPAA and OSHA is required; promote teamwork and assist others as needed; report elder maltreatment as required. Must have a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication skills, the ability to respect resident privacy, and First Aid certification; health screening and background checks are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- First Aid certification required
- Must meet health requirements, including TB clearance
- Must be 18 years or older and pass state-required fingerprinting and background check
