Job Summary
Receive room assignments from the manager and prioritize cleaning tasks. Clean, stock, and maintain guest rooms according to Colwen and brand standards by making beds, restocking amenities, disinfecting bathrooms, and vacuuming floors. Respond promptly to guest and department requests while ensuring guest privacy by knocking and announcing before entry. Transport cleaning carts, check inventory, and notify maintenance of needed repairs. Launder soiled linens, fold sheets, and remove trash and dirty items. Ensure all appliances function correctly and perform a final walk-around to verify room standards. Take found items to the lost and found area. Work a rotational 7-day cycle including weekends and holidays. Weekend availability is required.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Detail-oriented and thorough
- Remain discreet and respect privacy of guests, work with the highest level of integrity
- Perform consistent work to the highest standard
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly way
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
- Willingness to work rotational 7-day work cycle; including weekends and holidays
