Job Summary
Monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers at customer healthcare facilities for programs including Sharps Management, Pharmaceutical Waste, and Controlled Substances. Travel between assigned sites to proactively service waste containers while interacting professionally with onsite staff to meet service expectations. Maintain a rigid collection schedule and communicate duty status as directed. Requires on-site presence, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 55 pounds and push carts weighing 500 pounds. Works Monday through Friday starting at 5am with free parking provided.
Required Qualifications
- on-site presence at WMHS customer locations
- compliance with all mandatory immunization requirements imposed by such customers
- Valid Driver's License
- strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols
- subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‐employment screening, post‐incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years industry related experience in a customer service capacity
- equivalent in related work experience
- demonstrating strong communication skills
- tact in providing superior customer service in a variety of settings and situations
- preferred education requirement
