Part Time Hospital Phlebotomist (Weekends Only)

Phlebotomist needed at Mobile Infirmary Hospital (LabCorp-affiliated) for weekend shifts Saturdays and Sundays 6:00am–4:30pm. Responsibilities include performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, data entry of patient information, processing billing information, preparing specimens for testing, maintaining patient and specimen logs, providing patient-focused customer service, and performing administrative duties. Travel to additional sites may be required. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED or equivalent, phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience; preferred qualifications include 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team; reliable transportation; color vision testing; and willingness to work overtime.
