Job Summary
Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim while sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting furniture and equipment. Washes walls, ceilings, windows, and door panels; empties wastebaskets and transports trash to disposal areas. Replenishes bathroom supplies and moves small equipment or tools between departments. Works weekend shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, with part-time hours ranging from 16 to 29 weekly. High school diploma or GED required; medical cleaning experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
- This position is weekends only
- Part-time employees may be scheduled 16-29 hours a week
- Coverage shifts on weekdays may be offered as needed
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
- Medical cleaning a plus
