Job Summary
Part-time homeschool co-teacher for four children (ages 8, 10, 11, 13) focusing on high school-level math, including Honors Algebra 1 and Geometry, with added math enrichment for grades 3–6. Responsibilities include building study skills and executive functioning, maintaining a calm, productive learning environment, and supporting a homeschooling mother in the home. Classes run August to June with specific weekly schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 am–12:30 pm and Tuesday 8:00 am–10:30 am, plus occasional opportunities for additional hours. Salary is $40–$45/hour, with benefits and paid time off. The role requires in-home presence, strong organizational and instructional abilities, and adherence to safety and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 3 years of professional educational experience
- Have a college degree (prefer math or science)
- Ability to facilitate Algebra 1 Honors and Geometry schoolwork
- Have a professional resume
