Job Summary
Part-time Home Health Respiratory Therapist needed to provide skilled respiratory care in Muskegon, MI and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include managing records and patient assessments, delivering all aspects of respiratory therapy including mechanical ventilation, educating patients, participating in transitions from facility to home settings, and ensuring safety and infection-control standards. Must be licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan, NBRC-registered, with at least 1 year of experience; ability to work independently and as part of a team; reliable transportation; and ability to pass background checks. PRN availability allows maintaining active status with as little as one shift per month. Benefits include 401K, PTO, medical coverage, weekly pay, and opportunities for advanced skilled training.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed through the state of Michigan as a Respiratory Therapist
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Knowledge of modern principles, methods, materials, and equipment
- Knowledge of possible hazards to patients and appropriate precautions
- Minimum of 1 year Respiratory Therapy experience
- Problem Solving Skills and Ability to Multi-Task
- Reliable Transportation
- Valid Driver’s License
- Work in a Team Responsibly and Independently
- Compassionate with Good Communication Skills
- Ability to Pass Drug Screen/Clear Background
